Hand Drill Fire Sucess!

This is something I have always wanted to do - start fire with my two hands and two sticks.

I harvested some Sotol this weekend and worked on it over the last few days - FIRE!

What is a grand amongst total strangers?

I was doing some maintenance on my air conditioning condenser (cleaning it) when I saw a hole near the concrete pad that supports the condenser. Some investigation with a shovel later revealed a fairly large cavern. A few hours more digging and investigating showed that a sewer leak was taking dirt away from the area.

I called a plumber - and after MANY hours of work on my behalf (digging the hole) and their behalf (hammer drilling and digging) it was fixed. A little over a grand later and I have a solid sewer line again.

Maxwell's 4th Birthday!

Maxwell had his 4th birthday party about one week after his actual birthday. He had an apron from his schools Mother's Day celebration (I was a stand in Mom this year) and wanted to wear it to help make his birthday Cupcakes. He and mom made cupcakes by Max's instructions and he decorated them with letters. His party was at a local park and a gang of his friends came to celebrate. We had bubbles, glasses, horns, a pinata, pizza, and juice. A good time was had by all!
