We got together for one last hurrah at Cousin Lori's House. We got pics of all the families and so I will post them here.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

Nearly the entire Moulenbelt clan were out at the ball game Saturday to see the White Caps and some fire works. We had peanuts, Dippin' Dot's and had a great time. The boys rolled down the hills that we sat on (behind the third base line) and as you can see Maxwell could use some rolling instructions.

Two Zoo's for You's!

We went to two zoo's on this trip home. John Ball Park Zoo in Grand Rapids and Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek. Both were AWESOME, but we forgot the camera at John Ball - so I only have Binder documented. Shawn's family and GrandMelissa came along to Binder - what a good time!

To Lake Michigan We Go!

We went to Lake Michigan again this year with Amy's Sister Staci and her kids Samantha and Cypress. It was a blast as usual. Lambert LOVED the water this year and we had a great time making sand castles, burying cousins, and catching some rays!

Party in the Park.

A local TV station puts on free parties for lower income folks all around South West Michigan. This is a VERY cool idea so we decided to check out the local one and support what was going on. The kids had fun on all the rides, at a good lunch, and got bunches of free goodies!

Recording with 7 Ways!

A year ago or so I recorded two songs with 7 Ways (my brothers band) and they sounded great. In fact, one song spend a few days at #1 on IndieHeaven! Anyway, after a year, new ideas, and new software we decided to re-record those songs. So, Amy and I headed for Ho's basement in Caledonia and sat down for a recording session.

It was a blast I will be sure to post links of the final product when they come out.

The Boys go Fishing with Papa Bruce.

After Grandmoi bought the boys some poles we all went fishing with my dad. He brought a BB gun with him and we had a blast catching fish, shooting the BB Gun, and swimming. This is a yearly ritual with my Dad and I and it means a lot to us and the boys!

Amy and I opened for Brian Vander Ark.

A while back my brother Shawn, his buddy and bandmate Mike and a few others decided to start a Christian rock band called 7 Ways. We also decided a while back so get Brian Vander Ark (formerly of The Verve Pipe) to play at one of our houses during his 2008 Lawn Chairs and Living Rooms Tour.

Mike called his manager and set it up - Brian was going to play. Brian also allowed 7 Ways to open for him. Shawn called me and we were IN!

Then Brian's manager called and told us that they would be making a documentary of the tour and this was one stop they wanted to film. We we psyched! The first weekend we were home we played with 7 Ways and then a little with Brian and the night was amazing.

I have a CD copy of the event and the DVD should be out this winter - keep and eye out - we hope we make it on the DVD.
