A couple of my presentations.

I recently gave a few presentations for the Greater Houston Education Collaboration that were recorded and can be watched via streaming video.

The first one is about Materialism (and is frankly a lot more fun for the lay person to watch) and the other is about Learning Communities and is about Honors Learning Communities.

Stephen Austin State Park.

The family went to Stephen F. Austin State park about 20 minutes from the house on Sunday. We hiked, wandered the trails, and checked out the Brazos river. The boys realized they could get an 'echo' of their voice from the cliffs on the other side and were amazed by this. It was the first echo's they have experienced so they experiments with what they said and then asked 'Where are the kids on the other side?'. Lambert was particularly intrigued by this. We had a lot of fun.

Grandmoi Visits!

Grandmoi visited recently and we all had fun. We went out to eat, went to IKEA, played around the house, did some landscaping, and generally had fun.

New paint, new landscaping, and new carpet.

We have been very busy on our house and spending our tax return. We had the house painted (trim - Sage Green - main house - Bright White). We had carpet installed throughout (not pictured). While Grandmoi was here we did the landscaping. I think the house looks very good!
